Welcome to Field: A Journal of Arts & Sciences, the peer-reviewed student journal of Indiana University Kokomo. Our journal aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and promote a culture of exploration and discovery within our community.
Since our founding in August 2016, we have been committed to showcasing the work of talented student writers and artists at IU Kokomo. We publish an annual volume of visual artwork, research essays, and creative writing in the spring, providing a platform for students to share their ideas and perspectives with a wider audience. At Field, we believe in the importance of representing diverse voices and experiences. We strive to create a space where students from all backgrounds can engage with one another and expand their field of vision. We are proud to be supported by the Office of Academic Affairs and to be a student-led initiative. Although our journal is published annually in the spring, we encourage students to join the conversation at any time. We welcome submissions of original work and invite students to browse our current volume and attend our events throughout the year. Whether you are an aspiring writer or artist or simply interested in exploring new ideas and perspectives, we invite you to join us in our mission to promote lifelong learning and intellectual curiosity. |
